Our results showed that the cells overexpressing GFP underwent skeletal muscle hypertrophy, which was characterized by GFP expression, enlarged cell body, and increased nuclear size. The transcriptome analysis revealed that the gene expression levels of apoptosis and proliferation-related genes were not significantly altered
